Not all security
is equal.

Most alarms wait for the glass to break. Ours spot someone at the gate, show you who it is and light the whole place up, before anyone gets near a window.

02:47. Everyone’s asleep. Someone’s at the garden gate.

Not all security is equal

Where the usual alarm stops, we start.

We design and install intruder alarms, fire and carbon monoxide detection, CCTV, video intercoms and access control for homes and businesses across the New Forest, from our base in Lymington. On paper it is the same job everyone else does. Here is how it plays out at 2am.

Spots trouble
The usual alarm: When the glass breaks or a door opens.
New Forest Security: On the drive, in the garden, at the gate, before anyone reaches the house.
Tells you
The usual alarm: “Alarm, Zone 4.” Good luck with that.
New Forest Security: Who, where and a photo, on your phone in seconds.
Wireless
The usual alarm: One-way radio that can be jammed without anyone knowing.
New Forest Security: Two-way, encrypted and supervised. A jamming attempt is itself an alarm.
Smoke & fire
The usual alarm: One detector beeps in one room.
New Forest Security: Every detector sounds together, and your phone says which room.
Water
The usual alarm: You find the leak when the ceiling comes down.
New Forest Security: A detector spots it and a valve shuts the water off.
Power or internet down
The usual alarm: Often silent.
New Forest Security: Battery backup and mobile data, so it keeps talking.
Everything else
The usual alarm: Its own keypad, its own app, its own little world.
New Forest Security: Lights, heating, blinds, gates and cameras join in. KNX, Loxone, Control4 and more.

How we think

Out-of-the-box thinking, not out-of-the-box kits.

Most security is sold by the box: a panel, three detectors and a bell. We start with a better question. How would someone actually get in, what else could go wrong, and how would you want to find out?

  1. 01

    Start at the boundary

Most alarms guard the glass. We would rather an intruder never got that far. Outdoor detection, cameras that recognise people and lights that switch on as someone arrives make the garden your first line, not your last.

  2. 02

    Proof, not noise

A false alarm every fortnight and everyone stops listening. Photo-verified alarms and smart detection mean that when your phone goes, it matters, and you can see why.

  3. 03

    One property, not six apps

Alarm, fire, cameras, door entry, water and lighting should know about each other. Set the alarm and the heating drops, the blinds close and the cameras pay attention.

  4. 04

Built for your property, not out of a kit box

No two properties are the same, so we design room by room. And if the piece you need does not exist, we build it. We write our own integrations.

Fire, water and the quiet dangers

Not just burglars.

A kitchen fire or a pipe letting go under the sink does more damage to more homes than any burglar. The same system that watches the garden can look after those too, and tell you exactly where.

Every detector sounds. Your phone says where.

Linked smoke, heat and CO detection that wakes the whole house, not just the kitchen.

A leak spotted, the water shut off.

Leak detection where water hides, and a valve on the main that closes by itself.

Integration

Your security should talk to everything else.

We are also the team behind KNX Partners, Loxone Partners and Control4 Partners, so we do not stop at the alarm panel. Set the alarm and the lights go off, the heating drops and the blinds close. An alarm at night lights the way. A leak shuts off the water. And if the piece that joins it all up does not exist, we write it.

Local

Based in Lymington. Out in the Forest every day.

We look after homes, holiday lets and businesses across the New Forest and along the coast, and we know the patch: thatched cottages with walls a metre thick, holiday homes empty half the year, and ponies that wander past the cameras at 3am.

Questions

The things people ask first.

What equipment do you use?

For intruder and fire detection we use Ajax, and we are an accredited Ajax partner. It ticked every box for us: two-way encrypted radio, photo-verified alarms, proper fire detection and the ability to work with other systems. For cameras, intercoms and access control we choose the right kit for each job rather than pushing one brand.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Lymington and work across the New Forest, including Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Milford on Sea, New Milton and Ringwood, as well as Christchurch, Bournemouth, Southampton and the wider Hampshire and south coast area.

Do you offer monitoring by a security company?

No. We do not provide monitored response. Your system alerts you and the people you choose straight away, with the room, the time and photos where fitted.

Can you take over a system someone else installed?

Yes, it is a big part of what we do. If your system is unreliable, unsupported or the installer has gone quiet, we can look at it and either put it right or replace it, keeping what is worth keeping.

Is wireless security actually secure?

The radio we use is encrypted, two-way and supervised. Devices check in with the control panel regularly, so a missing or blocked device is noticed within moments, not weeks, and a jamming attempt raises an alert.
